Terms of Service
Effective July 14, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Serial Trail, a service operated by Metigro. By installing or using the app for a store, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that merchant and accept these Terms.
The service
Serial Trail provides unit-level serial registration, lifecycle tracking, fulfillment assignment, scanning, data export, and reconciliation tools. You remain responsible for the accuracy of serials, product bindings, fulfillment decisions, customer communications, warranty obligations, and regulatory compliance.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other merchants, upload unlawful or malicious content, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or platform rules.
Plans and payment
Current features, prices, allowances, trial terms, and billing intervals appear in the app before approval. Paid Shopify plans are billed through Shopify Billing. Taxes may apply. Cancelling or downgrading stops future paid access according to the displayed billing terms but does not silently delete existing serial data.
Your data
You retain rights in merchant data. You grant us the limited right to process it to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Export and deletion behavior is described in the Privacy Policy and data retention guide.
Availability and changes
We work to provide reliable, fail-soft operation but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change or discontinue features, with reasonable notice when a change materially reduces paid functionality. Beta or demo features may change and must not be treated as production records.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties. Metigro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid for Serial Trail during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or legal necessity. Terms that by nature should survive termination, including payment, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, remain effective.
Contact and changes
Questions may be sent to [email protected]. We may update these Terms; the effective date identifies the current version, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted.
